Location information Approximate and/or precise location (when permitted) to support navigation features and maintain vehicle companion connectivity. Contacts Contact names and phone numbers to enable contact sync with the connected infotainment system. SMS metadata/content SMS information (when permitted) to support message-related companion features in the vehicle context. Calendar information Calendar events (when permitted) to support calendar sync and display in companion features. Notification content Notification listener access (when enabled by you) to support media controls, call/message state handling, and related companion interactions. Microsoft account data (if you use Teams integration) OAuth login tokens and selected Microsoft Graph data (such as profile, people/contacts, calendars, and mail scopes you authorize). 2) How We Use Information We use accessed information to: Connect your phone with your vehicle/infotainment system Provide media control and call/message companion features Enable navigation and route-related companion experiences Sync contacts, calendar, and optional Microsoft Teams-related data Maintain app reliability, connection state, and diagnostics 3) Data Storage and Retention Most operational data is processed locally on your device. Authentication tokens (for enabled services such as Microsoft login) are stored securely on device as required for sign-in/session continuity. Data is retained only as long as needed for app functionality, unless deletion is requested or you revoke permissions/uninstall the app. 4) Data Sharing We do not sell your personal information.
